About Me

I am currently studying Graphic Design at GCSE level at Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre in Tenterden, Kent. However in September I will be progressing onto the AS-level then hopefully move onto A2 in a couple of years.
After my AS courses are finished I would like to go to college and get a BA in graphic design.
I know, "focus on what your doing now and forget about the years to come". Trust me i've heard it all before.

At the age of 16 it is obviously very difficult to get anyone to notice your work. However, when you have great admiration for the subject you don't think about the competitive world. You focus on yourself and try to do the best you can.

I entered a national competition to design a logo for Google. This logo had to reflect upon the subject of 'My heros'. Seeming as everyone I knew were designing logos with sportsmen/women, musicians and artists. I decided to make a logo that was aimed at global heros like Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Winston Churchill etc. To me they are the real heros. If you want to see the logo that I designed for the competition then go and visit my photogallery. Check out the Logo

South East Fabrications Ltd is a local fabricating firm that is based in Ashford, Kent. They wanted me to design them a company profile booklet that would be given out to their customers. They wanted a cover that looked professional and reflected upon a service that they supply called ARC welding. As well as this they asked if other photos of projects they have completed could be displayed. So I created a profile that met both criterias and the finished project is displayed in the gallery Check out the Profile

September

The evening came and went all before we had the chance to realise. The amount of organising, the amount of pressure, support, perseverance, dedication - it was definatley a night that we couldn't easily forget. The endless amount of times we had to speak to people about budgeting, health and safety etc, is enough to make the most mature and experienced individual go insane, let alone a teenager. However, we paced ourselves and soon enough we had got the results that we were longing for. Over 200 visitors, tons of food and the experience to kick start our careers.Thank you all for attending and we hope to hear from you soon! Check out the Gallery
